Bangalore: The service tax on house construction that becomes effective from June 16 will add as much as 3.3 per cent to the cost of an apartment ( including the cost of car parking ). Bangalore property developers are expected to pass this on to the buyer, though some say developers may be forced to abosrb a part of it to cushion the imapact.
