Vakil Housing Plans Affordable Homes

The company hopes to tap the growing demand for branded value-for-money residential units.
Vakil Housing Development Corporation ( VHDC ) plans to enter the affordable housing segment, which has lately attracted premier real estate developers. The Bangalore-based company intends to build housing units catering to the message in another three to four years. At present, VHDC constructions address the need of the medium to high-end clients.
The company, which focuses on villas and independent homes as well as landscaping, said its affordable houses will be priced between Rs 10 and 15 lakh. “The plan is still in inception, but we are looking at that option seriously,” said Mr.Arif Vakil, co-director of VHDC
